MICE
Identification
- Light to dark gray in color
- Small, slender rodent that weigh 1 ounce or less
Environment
- Move in structures in search of shelter and food when temperatures start dropping
- Can subsist without a free water supply they obtain water from the food they eat
Threats
- Gnaw on many surfaces to wear them down and cause extensive damage
- Contamination
- Can squeeze through an opening the size of a dime
Treatment
- Baits and stations placed perpendicular and close to the wall or behind side of large appliances
- Doors that close tightly
- Look for any openings that could be entry points and place traps near them
